Happy Halloween!!

Halloween is such a great holiday! we get to dress up as whatever we want and no one can look at us weird. This year i decided to go simple...at least with me and noa's costumes...i was a black cat, and my little pumpkin was...well, a pumpkin (jack-o-lantern). Chad came up with his awesome golfer outfit all on his own! and it was so cute! - he totally looked the part!

My mom bought this costume for Noa, but it is actually for 18-36month babies...so it may have been a little big :D

We didnt do much but we did end up going to our ward party, and it was so much fun! the families from our ward are all SO creative when it comes to costume ideas...we had the Incredibles (minus Jack-Jack), the 5 stages of Michael Jackson...O, and cant forget the SWINE FLU family...

Swine flu family - they were definitely one of my favorites...almost as much as...

The Asian President Obama

(Noa was all candied out by the end of the night :D)

O how he's grown...

This is Noa at 1 week old:

and here he is at 2 months:

He is now 23 inches weighing in at 12 lbs 1 oz! (thats almost a 4 lb increase since birth) He's a CHuNK and I LoVe it!!

Happy 2 month!!

It's been exactly 2 months since our sweet Noa was born! I feel like it has just flown by soooo fast! sometimes I just want time to stop so that we can enjoy each moment we spend with our little guy. I want him to stay this little forever...although every new phase still becomes my favorite. I enjoy so much just watching him develop and learn to do new things.
I LOVE that he is interacting more with his surroundings and with us, making eye contact, smiling, laughing, and even talking a little ;) I LOVE that he is able to hold up his head better now and he doesn't seem so fragile. I LOVE that he is sleeping longer at night with less feedings and less diaper changes (more for Chad than anyone else). and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE watching him grow and experiencing LIFE!

Rolling over

Noa rolled over from being on his stomach to his back!...possibly because of the softer surface he was on or because of his big head :D but he did it!
Possibly the CUTEST thing I have ever seen!

Noa's Blessing Day

Yesterday was a very special day for our family - our little precious Noa was blessed by his father, surrounded by loving family and friends. I am so thankful for a husband that holds the Priesthood. We have been truly blessed because of it. We are so lucky and are so thankful to have this Gospel in our lives and for the knowledge that our family can be together forever.

All in all, it was a GREAT but tiring day for little Noa.

FiNALLY...

Last week I finally gave myself the haircut that I have desperately been wanting...it had been a while since I cut my own hair and I had been debating whether to go through with it or not for a looong time, but I finally did it, and im very happy with how it turned out!

Noa's umbilical cord finally came off the day before his 1 month birthday!! I was starting to wonder if it was never going to come off on its own since the doctors (and everyone else that we talked to) said that it should take just around 10 days for it to fall off...well, for Noa, it took a full month...

...and with this came Noa's first full bath...finally! until now we've just been giving him sponge baths!...poor little boy...

Chad was so excited he jumped in the tub with him :D ....he LOVES bath time!

The weather has been so nice lately, so we decided to go on a little family picnic! we (mostly Noa and I...) needed a little fresh air and to get out of our apartment for once... It was really fun and I think the little guy enjoyed being outside a lot!
